A Bid For Love Read online

The burn made his eyes go blurry. Tony’s were at half-mast as he rocked back and forth until he was embedded deep inside him.
“Feels okay?” Tony asked, moving forward until his face nestled against his shoulder.
“Yessss,” he hissed, mindless from pleasure.
Tony moved gently, placing kisses across his collarbone. Reece held onto his arms and nudged his head up to meet him for a kiss. They tongued one another, their flesh slapping loudly. Tony fondled his cock, making it jump. And when he ran his hands over his balls, Reece pressed farther back, dying from their intense fucking.
“I’m gonna—”
“Hold off, baby,” Tony whispered into his ear and rocked faster, fisting his hands into his hair.
“Can’t…Ah!” He came in deep jolts, his cum splashing his thighs while his entire body shook from the force of his climax.
Tony released a bellow and pulled back. Reece’s legs dropped, his body humming. His dick jutting out more cum to the music of his lover’s hoarse groans.
“Come here.” He curved an arm around Tony’s neck and placed kisses on his brow. They nestled together as their breathing slowed.
Neither spoke until Tony tugged Reece up by his chin and bussed his lips.
“Thank you,” Tony’s voice was full of emotion.
Reece stared into his eyes and clutched him in tighter. He blinked moisture back. “I should be thanking you for ending my dry spell.”
Tony’s forehead crinkled. “You’re pulling my leg. I’ve seen the men you’ve been with. Some of them didn’t leave your condo until the next morning.”
He shook his head. “They’re friends and nothing more. I haven’t had sex in over two years.”
“Why?” Tony brushed a hand over his head, confusion still marring his face.
“I wanted to wait for you.” He shrugged, growing uncomfortable by admitting his secret. I’ll never live it down if he laughs.
“Wow, that’s….just wow.” Tony’s mouth relaxed into a deep grin. “I haven’t been too sexually active over the last few years. Ever since I met you, I couldn’t imagine being with anyone else.”
Reece swallowed, overcome by emotion. “How about we get cleaned up and eat something before round two?” he asked, pushing Tony on his back and rolling the used condom off him.
“And what will round two entail?”
Flattening a palm down on the bed, Reece leaned over him. He licked his lips and smiled. “An experienced older man like yourself can show a young kid like me what he’s been missing out on.” He rubbed his nose over Tony’s cheek and flicked out his tongue to taste the salty skin there. “It may involve those chocolate covered strawberries you were eyeing earlier.”
“Sounds kinky. But I’m certainly willing to give it a try.” Tony brushed aside the stands of hair falling over Reece’s brow.
He moved his mouth over Tony’s, desire for this man building low in his gut.

After taking a quick shower together, they had one another up against the window overlooking the view and in the hot tub again. Finally—after partaking in the dessert feast where they put the chocolate-covered strawberries to good use—they fell into bed right before the sun rose.
Chapter Six
He burrowed his dick against the ass of a sleeping Reece. Anthony wanted to roll on top of him and fist their cocks together like they had done many times during the night. They had done it all—kissing, groping, and fucking until he was one raw, chafed, but well satisfied man.
Exhaustion tugged at him, but he needed to use the bathroom before he could fall back to sleep, wrapped around his lover who’d given him the best sex he’d ever had.
My lover. All mine. He smiled and placing a soft kiss on the back of Reece’s shoulder, got out of the bed and walked toward the bathroom. After a quick piss and a swift cleaning with a washcloth, he’d climb into bed and catch a short nap before they had to leave.
Maybe they’d take a shower together and have breakfast before they headed back to one of their places to spend the rest of the day in bed doing even more amazing things with their mouths and cocks.
He cursed, tripping over a shoe. Articles of clothing were strewn across the room. Shaking his head at the mess, he bent down, grabbing Reece’s jacket when a piece of paper fell out of the pocket.
Picking it up, he noted the Castillo name in script at the top. Curious, he unfolded the note. His throat grew tight and when the room spun, he sat down heavily on the couch to digest the contents.
Reece,
The plan has changed. I was anonymous who gave the highest bid on you. Anthony believes we’re meeting for dinner with one of my business associates. Act surprised when you see him and tell him you made plans to have dinner with me to discuss a business opportunity. I can promise you both will have a night you’ll never forget.
A penthouse suite is at your disposal.
Good luck,
J. Castillo
“What the fuck?” He shook his head in astonishment. Humiliation ran through his body. He’d been played for a fool.
“Why are you out here? Come lie in bed with me. I’m lonely,” Reece came up behind him, his voice a gruff whisper. Warm breath touched his nape, and he jumped up from the couch and backed away.
“Care to explain this?” He waved the note and went to collect his clothes, ignoring Reece’s aroused cock.
“I can explain.”
He zipped his pants and tugged on his shirt. “Don’t come near me. I’m afraid I’ll—”
“Afraid of what? You’ll beat the shit out of me?”
“Is this some type of joke between you and Jagger? A bet you two came up with to see if you can get the lonely old man in bed and prove he can still get it up?” His voice shook with anger and he curled his hands, wanting to punch something.
“Not at all.” Reece reached for him. “I’ve wanted you for so long, but whenever I tried to talk to you for more than five minutes, you’d make an excuse to leave. Then Madame Evangeline said she knew of a way for us to get together, Jackson encouraged me, and I agreed.”
“You’re an escort for Madame Evangeline?” Anthony grew ill over the idea he was one of many men who the gorgeous guy had slept with for money.
“Hell no!” Reece stomped over and cupped his face. He tried to move away, but found himself frozen by the panicked look in Reece’s eyes. “I’m a freelance graphics designer and contractor with Castillo Resorts, that’s all. 1Night Stand isn’t a prostitution ring. I’d never be part of such a thing. How could you think that of me?”
“I’m not sure what to think. Why would they go through all this with the auction and have you lie to me?” Anthony thrust him away.
“I know it could have backfired, but it was a long shot. Pretty inventive, don’t you think?” Reece moved in closer, his lips brushing over Anthony’s dry ones.
His mind went numb. Only when a warm hand slid into his pants did he pull away. He grabbed his socks and shoes. “I need to take a walk and get some fresh air.”
“Please don’t be like this. How about we call for room service and talk?” Reece grabbed hold of elbow.
“Do not touch me.” He tore his arm away. He walked barefoot to the door and gave Reece a disgusted stare. He still found him to be beautiful, a modern day Michelangelo’s David, but at the moment he was too offended to enjoy it.
“I’m sorry,” Reece whispered.
Instead of slamming the door behind him, he shut it softly. Resting his forehead against the wall for a moment, he forced himself to move to the elevator and press the call button, stopping to pull on his socks and shoes. The elevator arrived and he stepped in. The door to the suite opened and Reece walked out, fully dressed, calling his name. Safely in the closed car, he pulled out his cell phone to call Jagger and give him a piece of his mind before he dealt with his deceitful neighbor.

Reece wandered the casino in vain looking for Tony. After an hour of se
arching, he was ready to give up. The memories of the hot tub and then having each other all over the room in every position imaginable made his body pulse and his dick hard. Their lovemaking had not only been one of the most erotic experiences of his life, but it had cemented his feelings for Anthony Conlin. Now he just needed to find him, beg his forgiveness, and tell him how much he’d had come to care for him.
He made his way across the floor and past the slot machines, winding up near the beginning of a long hallway leading to the indoor shops and restaurants, right in front of a sparkling fountain. Shining coins littered the bottom. Reaching into his pocket, he found a dime and flipped it in, watching it sink to the bottom.
“I did the same thing after I got off the phone with Jagger.”
He swallowed before turning around. He hid his hands in his pockets rather than pull Tony into his arms and kiss him in front of all the people bustling past them.
“You’re still angry at me?” he asked, afraid to hear the response.
They both sat on the edge of the fountain. Tony rested his arms on his knees, staring ahead. “I’m pissed off at the situation and how it happened. I planned to find Jagger and punch him in the face. But the man must be psychic. The moment I got off the elevator, he called me. He wanted to know how my night went and how much I enjoyed his gift.”
“I guess I’m the gift?”
“Apparently you are. I got into it with him. I told him what he did was a low move and it humiliated me. I also called him a few choice names. After I went off for a few minutes, Jagger calmly asked me if I was done with my lecture. He admitted the way he got us together was unconventional, but he never meant to hurt me.”
“How did you end things with him?” Reece asked, sliding his damp palms up and down his knees.
“I called him an asshole and he agreed. He said I’d thank him for what he did when I took time to think about it, and for me to get over it. Apparently, he was sick and tired of my self-pity and gave me the push I needed to grab hold of the one thing I’d been dying for.”
“And that thing would be me.” Reece’s heart lifted, hope rising in his chest.
“You’re a cocky SOB.”
“I’m trying not to be.” He licked his lips. He hoped what he said next didn’t put more of a dent in their relationship. “You can’t tell me what we had last night wasn’t incredible.”
“It was. But I do have a problem with the lengths you went to get us there.”
“Your pride is hurt. If I were in your shoes, I’d probably feel the same. But it helped move things along. If we didn’t have Jagger or Eve in our lives, we’d still be passing each other in the hallways, sharing greetings and nothing else, silently lusting for one another and never acting on our attraction.”
“It’s more than attraction between us.”
“Then what is it?”
Tony sighed loudly, dropped his hand on his, and squeezed his fingers. “You’re my fantasy come to life. I’d never thought in a million years a guy who’s unbelievably attractive, has a body I’d kill for, and is a good decade younger than me would be interested in me sexually. I’m not anyone’s prize.”
Reece released his hand and held him by the nape of his neck, forcing him to look at him. “Then you don’t know me at all. You assumed I didn’t want anything to do with you because of my looks and age. From the moment we met, I couldn’t stop thinking about you. Every time you said hello to me and smiled, I grew hard. The times I saw you leaving for work in your button-down suit, had me almost busting a nut in my pants. You wanted to know why I started doing laps in the pool each morning? To release some tension. It was either that or jerk myself off until I was raw.”
“You’re serious.”
“My lusting over you has turned into something more permanent.” He bumped his nose against Tony’s. “Hell, I might be falling in love with you. And if you say I’m too young and can’t understand what the difference between lust and love is, then I need to show you again like I did last night.”
Reece gave him a peck on the mouth, his tongue swiping across his lips in a promise of more things to come between them when they were alone once again.
“We still have so much to talk about before we can….”
“Before what?” Reece asked in breathless apprehension.
“Before…we start dating.”
“No way. We’re going to be exclusive,” he declared, you’re mine echoing in his head.
They sat back, their hips against one another, their fingers entwined.
“Why don’t we go back up to the room and order breakfast and…talk?” Tony recommended.
“We can make this work.”
“I hope so. I want it. Us.”
Reece smiled and squeezed his knee. “I like the idea of us together. Now that’s out of the way, let’s go eat. Maybe if we have time before we check out, we can sit in the hot tub and….” He placed his mouth against his lover’s ear and told him in graphic detail what he wanted to do with him.
The blush crossing Tony’s cheeks made Reece shake his head, surprised the man acted so timid half the time. Instead of commenting, he stood. Tugging Tony with him, they held hands as they walked toward the elevators. He planned to make his move the moment they entered their suite.
“Should your smile scare me?” Tony asked as they waited for the elevator to arrive.
Reece hooked an arm around his waist. “Just excited to have breakfast with you. And you can be certain there will be many more between us.”
“I wonder if they can bring us more of those chocolate-covered strawberries….”
“This time I’ll be the one to eat them off of you,” Reece said, backing him into the corner of the elevator and dipping down for a swift kiss.

Jagger pulled his vibrating cell phone out of his pocket. Noting the number, he answered and smiled, watching Anthony and Reece kiss while the elevator doors closed.
“Hello, mon cher. I take it the night went as planned between our friends.”
Jagger took a sip of his coffee and walked toward the front of the casino. “Another triumph. Both gentlemen looked extremely happy together. Their one night will definitely become many more between them.”
“I knew everything would work out from the beginning.” Eve sighed. “The hot tub was a nice touch if I do say so myself.”
He stopped right in the middle of the foyer. “How would you know for certain? Yes, your success rate is amazing, but a one-night stand doesn’t always lead to a happily ever after.”
Her soft giggle rankled him. “Still the pessimist, my boy? After what you went through with your own special night, shouldn’t you be more open minded? Let’s just say I have a sixth sense when it comes to these things.”
“Nothing’s a surprise to you?”
“Not at all. Et salut.” Eve hung up before he could press her further.
Sighing, he shook his head. She had been right. He knew all too well about happily ever afters. Eve had helped him find one with his perfect mate.
Striding across the marble floor he glanced up at the top floor and saluted the two seemingly mismatched men who had found each other against all the odds.
